Make the I-GOAL Commitment

The start of a new year is always a good time to reaffirm our focus toward making our dreams a reality. Regardless of who you are or what you do, the basic framework for success is straightforward. Have a plan, roll up your sleeves and go to work.

The journey itself is long and has many ups and downs, twists and turns. I-GOAL provides personal and professional development courses that helps young adults to both come up with a good plan for what they want in life and to define who they would like to be as individuals.

The core concepts at the heart of I-GOAL are encompassed in the I-GOAL Commitment.

I Give my best at all times.
When we do our best consistently, we lay the foundation, moment by moment, for our success in life. We develop a positive momentum and define who we become. Commit to doing your best always.
I Only focus on what I control.

We cannot control what others think, say, or do. We may not be able to control outside circumstances or outcomes. But, we have absolute control over what we do, what we say, and how hard we work. Always focus on what you can control.
I Always keep sight of my goals.
Goal setting provides direction, improves efficiency, and creates more opportunity. Always keep sight of your goals.
I live my life to its fullest.
Live from a sense that you will honor the gift of life and make the most of the opportunity. Live life to its fullest. Carpe diem, “seize the day.” YOLO, you only live once; there are many ways to say it and do it.

Being committed to always doing your best can become your self-fulfilling prophecy. Your expectation of doing things the right way, of living a life of success, will result in a self-fulfilling prophecy over time.

This is how you become a captain. This is how you direct your journey.

No person, event, or circumstance can keep you down. You, and only you, can keep you down.
You have the capacity for self-determination. This is how you build yourself up. This is how you lay the foundation, brick by brick, moment by moment.

Take the time to make the commitment to do the best that you can and define your life’s success.
