Using Your Strengths to Your Advantage

It is always good to strive to be balanced in life.

Nolan Ryan was one of the greatest pitchers in Major League Baseball history. Using one of the best fastballs the game has seen, he is by far the all-time league leader in strikeouts. He had a really good breaking ball. But, his fastball was special and he almost always threw it.

While he was born able to throw fast Ryan was noted for his work ethic. He tirelessly worked on his conditioning and did everything he could to hone his signature pitch.

This is a great formula for success in life. Know your strengths and use them to your advantage.

At the same time, we can’t just rely on what we do well. Life does not always accommodate our being able to get by on our talents. It can be hard. But you should also work toward identifying your weaknesses and come up with some ways to improve them.

What are your strengths?
How can you work to improve on these strengths.
How can you put these strengths to use to your best advantage?

What are some of your weaknesses?
How can you improve on these?
